Sonata II Case
The Sonata II has replaced Antec's
successful Sonata case. The Sonata case is the case we use for the hundreds of the
Sonata Trading Computer we produced in the last two years. We have a stack of
testimonials from happy customers who love this computer. Many of them mention
how much they like the looks of the computer and how quiet it is. The primarily
reasons we like the Sonata case is their low noise, style of the case
and excellent power supply. Antec is known for their quality power supplies. We
have had very few power supply failures. Other power supply companies have a
much high rate of failure.
We received the review unit of the Sonata II case in this excellent box. See
below. The
case was supported inside with Styrofoam support packaging. This helps the case
from getting damaged in shipment. We use both UPS and Fedex in our shipping and
have found it wise to make sure our products are well packaged. When we ship a
Sonata Trading Computer, it is packaged in its original Sonata Packaging and
then we put it in another box 16 x 24 x 24 with 4" of Styrofoam peanuts around
it. The double combination of packaging helps to protect the Sonata Trading
Computer from getting damaged.

The new Sonata II Features are:

The Sonata II has 9 Drive Bays:
- 3 x 5.25" external drive bays
- 2 x 3.5" external drive bays
- 4 x 3.5" internal drive bays in individual trays with rubber grommets to
absorb hard drive vibrations
The Cooling System is as follows:
- 1 rear 120mm Tricool fan (standard) with 3-speed control to balance quiet with
cooling
- 1 front 120mm case fan (optional) 25mm thick
-1 92mm fan (optional) in the air duct to cool the CPU
- 1 80mm fan (optional) for graphics cards
Double hinge door design: allows the door to open up to 270º . This is an
excellent new improvement. That way, when the door is opened, it does not hit your
knee if it is down under your desk in front of you.
Made with 0.8mm SECC Steel. The thick Steel helps to lessen the noise and
vibration of the case.
Built-in washable air filter keeps harmful dust out of your case. Dust is one of
the major enemies of your computer. When it gets around components or in fans
the computer will heat up. Heat is the major enemy of your computer.
