The back of the case shows the power supply output, the 120 case fan output and the output holes from the air duct. Antec wanted all the air coming out of the back of the case to reduce noise to the user. In this case they avoided the normal air duct on the side of the case most other manufactures use.

The construction of the case is excellent. The following is the engineering drawing from the manual that comes with the Sonata II case.

Finally the power supply that comes with the Sonata II is another major improvement over the original Antec 380 Watt power supply. It has the specially designed low-noise SmartPower 2.0 450W ATX12V v2.01 power supply. This one comes with the 24 pin power connection instead of the old 20 pin power connection. It also has the PCI-E connector for many of the new high powered video cards. Without these two new connectors, it is impossible to use many of the new motherboards and video cards.

This power supply also includes a 3 pin connector for the motherboard to monitor the speed of it through the bios. The power supply of the first Sonata had special connectors to the rear fan to allow the fan to run at a lower speed. This one did not have these connectors as the power supply has its own 3 power connector. This power supply is an essential new improvement over the original Sonata. As you can see below, the power supply fits in the top rear of the case.
