 PCPINPOINT (DT) REQUIREMENTS TO BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY

 
If you have purchased a warranty with PCPinpoint we are required to tell you the following to be covered:

This onsite and extended any warranties are between you and PCPinpoint.

Read their license carefully.

First activate and register your service License subscription by going to their site:
www.pcpinpoint and entering your serial PCPinpoint serial number in the Serial# License ID section.
See below.



Then you can activate and register your service.

You are then required to attempt the three steps of problem solving described below prior to
calling DT live phone support.

1) PC Pinpoint's Step 1 - Inventory and Test.
Performs automated diagnostics, System Hardware and software inventory and automated PC Software and Hardware Repair.

2) PC Pinpoint's Step 2 - Customer Problem Identification and Customized Tutorials. Delivers user initiated "How to" Solutions and Personalized Quick Fixes for problem solving. Step by Step fixes are crated utilizing inventory and test results combined with user problem input.

3) PC Pinpoint's Step 3 - Personalized Human Technical Support Interaction. Uses results from step 1 & 2 to solve problems faster. End users are instructed to use the mediums below in sequential order.

4) PC Pinpoint's Step 4 - OnDemandTM - OnDemand allows remote repair of an end users computer
by a technician at another location. The client is a small "opt in" configuration that the end user initiates.

5) Onsite "Techs2U". Onsite technicians are available to replace defective hardware or, at the sole
determination of DT, to solve complex problems.

If you have problems with the initial registration of their system they can access live support for guidance by using the Toll Free phone number to communicate directly with a DT technician support specialist.

After successful end user activation and registration, the end user is required to click the support icon on their desktop which will take them to support services website for future system maintenance and support needs. You will then be authorized to perform PC Pinpoint support steps 1 through 3 listed above for any hardware or software problem identification and resolution.
