I brought my sonata trading computer last year. I wanted a computer for trading with extra montiors capacity & speed. I ordered my computer & had my software pre loaded. When my computer was delivered it was easy to set up. My computer is very quiet & I can put up two 4 monitors & it runs 24/7. I had a problem with the power supply I called Larry had a new power supply out very fast. I had a friend who builds computers put in the power supply & he was amazed how the Sonata computer was put together. From the case to the components & extra fans for cooling. I am very happy with my computer & I want to talk to Larry about a Laptop soon. I would Highly recommend this computer to any one who trades. Service is excellent.

I bought the Sonata trading system and compared to any computer system I have owned, it is the ultimate supreme God.  I have seen no other machine even come to its toe.  I have owned the computer since September of 2006 and it is performing as good as it has been since the day it arrived.

What I think is amazing is the fact that one can fully customize these systems without digging a hole in one's pocket.  The pricing is unbelievably competitive compared to other "professional systems".  I would personally and professionally recommend this computer to anyone from professional traders to students. The other great experience is that you may call Larry Jacobs and he will take the time necessary to educate you while providing a solution to your problem on many levels.

I received my computer in well packed boxes and after unpacking I connected as instructed and "BINGO" it came up and has been great.  It is very quite and the 20 inch flat screens are great.  I'm very happy with the system. Just need to spend more time learning all the great features.

I bought my first Sonata computer from Traders World in 2004 and my second in 2005. I trade as a living with multiple data feeds feeding multiple trading software. I have never had a problem with my Sonata computer. Mr. Jacobs was very helpful in designing my computer to suit my needs. I would recommend this computer to any professional trader.

I love this computer. It has outperformed my expectations. It is very quiet and very fast. I'm using two large monitors and there is no lag with complex programs open. I very much appreciate the ability to upgrade the computer rather than buy a whole new one every 2 years or so. Support is top notch I hear; I haven't had any problems. I HIGHLY recommend it for traders especially, given the reasons mentioned above.

Excellent computer, quiet, does the job, highly recommended to other traders but I would increase to 2 gig ram, I decided on 1 gig ram and will install 1 more, just to be sure. It has perform 100% every day.

I am very pleased with my Sonata Trading Computer.  It is great for trading Forex and is also very quiet.  It is not as fast doing other things which I believe is a function of the equipment I chose but works great for trading which is it's main purpose.  I have no complaints what so ever and would recommend one to anyone seeking a good trading computer.

The Sonata computer I purchased from Trader's World is performing excellently. I feel that my unit could be quieter-sometimes it seems louder than others-or so it seems. Have not isolated the source of noise yet-but plan to selectively disconnect some of the case fans you identify perhaps, the offending fan. I look forward to having the multiple monitor set-up when funding can be found. I would not hesitate to recommend the sonata system to anyone-but would suggest they choose the quiet option.

The computer system has performed up to my expectations. It was as advertised. It is very quiet, I did not realize how important that was until I had the system. It does the job of trading the markets well and it would probably do well for other traders like myself. It might be useful if the computer could be put through its paces with some specific programs that most traders currently use on the market and advertise those results.

2003 and would like to share my experience of this important purchase with other prospective Traders World customers. The power and speed of the computer (Pentium 4, 3.06 GHz processor with 1.5 GM RAM) fully measures up to my expectations, and more. I am very happy with my computer's performance and it allows me to simultaneously run all the software applications I could possibly want to actively day trade successfully. Moreover, the purchase price was extremely competitive, yet I felt that I was getting a machine with quality parts not typically found in off the shelf production models.

Once I started full-time trading two years ago, it was obvious that I needed a trading station that could capitalize on the speed of my CyberTrader direct access. After a year of researching, I decided to purchase the the Sonata through Traders World because the system was the most competitively priced system customized for trading. Many of the individual components of the Sonata are superior to those of an off-the-shelf system because they are chosen with the trader in mind. With a Pentium 4, 3.06 GHz processor and 1 GM RAM, I run my trading platform on four monitors with as many programs running simultaneously without any problems.

Aside from being a excellent system at a reasonable price, customer service was excellent. I had lots of questions. They were patient and knew what they were talking about.

The primary feature of this system is speed and the benefit to me is faster execution of stock trades when one second is the difference between a profit and a loss.

I received the Sonata computer in August 2003. It started without any problems from the computer, but I had some trouble getting the three flat panel monitors configured. The computer has a Nvidia video card which will run 4 monitors. The Nvidia rep from California was very helpful in getting me tutored thru the getting of the correct driver.

I have had no problems with the Sonata. The software was configured and has worked.

The computer is very quiet which I like. I purchased it because it was designed to operate multiple monitors and was advertised as quiet to operate. It is a 3Ghz unit with 1Gb ram.

The computer was over $1000 less than a comparable Dell workstation.

I am a day trader and short term swing trader. I day trade the big S&P, S&P Emini, and QQQ. I short term swing trade bonds, grains, meats, and stock. I have been an active trader since 1996. The multiple monitor setup gives me flexibility which I did not have prior to getting it setup.

I have been using my Sonata computer (Pentium 4, 3.2 GHz, H.T. Extreme Edition processor with 2 GM RAM) for about a month now.

Although I am just getting used to it, working with four monitors makes swing and day-trading a joy. It is hard to believe that a technical trader could do without this setup.

The Sonata Trading Computer is well built and extremely fast. But the real added value was the after-sale, hand-holding and telephone assistance received in setting up the machine and monitors particularly since I am based outside of the USA.

I took final delivery of my Sonata in January 2004. I consider myself to be a student, and I day-trade stock index futures. I am very pleased with the Sonata's performance. It is a vast improvement over my old single monitor system. I use several charts, and it is a huge difference to be able to see them on 4 monitors without having to flip from one chart to the other. As a result, I can more objectively focus on the whole picture instead of trying to assemble bits and pieces in my head. Trading is much more fun as a result.

I am also very pleased with the excellent service from Traders World. Anyone can go buy a computer, but how well will it meet the needs of a trader? Being able to consult with an expert who knows both computers and trading is a big advantage. It makes a potentially bewildering purchase a whole lot easier and very cost effective. I found that I would've spent the same money or more on any other system, but it would not have been optimized for my needs. Nor would it have been as well supported.

As happy as I am with this system, I have to say that there were some problems in the hardware and hardware support areas when I first got it. Traders World was extremely helpful in tackling these problems and getting everything resolved perfectly. I very much appreciated their commitment to following through and delivering an excellent product.

Having the best tools is cheaper! The Sonata is a great tool.

I got my Sonata computer from Traders World in September 2003 and have been extremely happy with it. Since I don't know everything about computers, Larry helped me build a great computer that is extremely fast, stable, and can support my trading functions including 6 flat panel monitors. I have been trading for 5 years in both equities and S & P e-minis as a day-trader and swing trader. The Sonata's quality has been great and it has enabled me to expand my scope. Actually, I have forgotten some of the things it does because it runs effortlessly. I only had to call when I set it up to ask a couple of questions and service was terrific. Before using the Sonata, I had always bought Dell computers but I needed a computer built specifically for trading and without all the consumer junk added to computers today. The Sonata was the perfect solution.

I have been trading futures and stocks for 8 years and went between Dell and Gateway computers. I had to add expensive graphic cards to meet the performance I desired. When in March 2003, I researched my options for a new computer, the only one among Dell, HP Compaq, Gateway and others that had all the specs desired with a fair price was the Sonata. Since I received the Sonata, it is on 24/7. I do not remember it crashing once and even if it did that would probably be a XP issue. The only time I had to call was to request the split digital cable that were promptly mailed to me. My four monitors are working smoothly and my charts load fast. It is quiet as promised. Bottom line I do not recall cursing at the computer once. I can focus on my trading.

I responded to an advertisement for a computer for traders by Sonata and have been very satisfied with the outstanding help in configuring the system to its flawless performance.  There was an initial problem with a bad motherboard but Larry Jacobs sent a new one out overnight and easily walked me through a simple installation. I was a little concerned that this got through after it had been tested out before being sent to me but these things can happen. Since then it's been reliable workhorse no matter how much I've loaded it up with various multitasking projects. I day trade  the S&P and needed to upgrade. The Sonata can handle it all. Nice and quiet too. Larry will take good care of you.

to use a decent, big screen computer, but this Sonata multi screen is definitely
like a Rolls Royce to me.

After trying to configure my own computer, and talking with a number of other
suppliers, I determined Halliker's knew what they were doing, understood what I
wanted, and were very effective in communicating their ability to get the job done at a competitive price.
I've been delighted with the help, by a competent person I could understand, and

I am on my second Sonata Trading Computer.

My home office was broken into and the first one stolen.

Both computers have been outstanding! The second one is better. Quieter, faster with it's dual processors, and a truly outstanding case.

On the first one, I had a problem with some shipping damage. Larry promptly dealt with the problem and it then ran perfectly for several months until the break-in.

I'm using a quad monitor system, advanced real time charting software, five separate
trading platforms simultaneously for different accounts and trading programs. I also do some E-Mail, and a little web surfing with all of the above running at once.

I am not a computer expert, but am a serious trader and want the very best equipment
available. I believe that I have it, and I have enjoyed dealing with Larry Jacobs.

I am in the early stages of trading and still have a great deal to learn, however I chose the Sonata because it will give me the ability to expand as my skills advance. It's ultra quiet fans mean my computer stays cool, so I don't have to worry and I can concentrate without the noise level that some of the competitors have.  I have already experienced the exceptional service from Trader's World due to my limited knowledge of hardware mechanics, so it made getting started a breeze.
