Trends and Contratrends:  Using Extreme Price Extensions for Intraday Profits

Dr. Manz will discuss his favorite intraday trend and contratrend techniques for profiting from price extensions and reversals.  In this presentation, we will first focus on two pattern setups that can be identified in a daily timeframe and traded intraday, and then focus on a statistical technique that calculates contratrend entries to fade an opening gap.  The result is a trade that resides in the 95% confidence interval of the probability distribution.
