Incorporating
Basic Market Fundamentals into a Trading Strategy
This session will cover market structure, including speculators,
hedges, index arbitrage, (what is index arbitrage and how does it
affect market, what is fair value, and buy and sell programs), and
statistical arbitrage (what is the stat arb and how does it affect
the market condition). Also, capital flows, covering daily cash
flows, open and close orders, European close and order imbalances.
Monthly cash flows will also be addressed. The topic of asset
allocation, including strategies asset allocation and tactical asset
allocation (how does one identify an asset allocation and profit).
Finally, Jack Bouroudjian will touch on creating the high percentage
trade.
Biography:
Jack Bouroudjian is a principal at Brewer Investment Group, Inc.
Previously, he was senior vice president of equity futures for Nikko
Securities, the second-largest securities firm in Japan, Credit
Agricole Futures (a wholly owned subsidiary of Credit Agricole, the
17th-largest bank in the world), and Commerz Futures (a subsidiary
of Commerz Bank, the fourth-largest bank in Germany). Mr.
Bouroudjian also served as president of Commerz Futures. At each of
these firms, he built the entire futures operations from scratch and
they flourished into thriving subsidiaries under his command. Mr.
Bouroudjian has served as the chairman of the Equity Indices
Committee, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Chicago
Mercantile Exchange, and as chairman or co-chairman of over a dozen
educational, product, and regulatory committees during his term.
Aside from industry experience, he has done over 1,000 international
and domestic television shots, including CNBC, CNN, CNNfn,
Bloomberg, PBS, and countless other local and regional broadcasts.
Mr. Bouroudjian currently guests regularly on Friday on CNBC Squawk
Box, appears daily on Bloomberg TV at various times during the
trading session, and has his own radio show with BizRadioNetwork
Monday thru Friday from 3pm to 4pm Central Standard Time.
